Shipping & Returns
For orders shipped to destinations within the United States, our standard delivery method is USPS, for which shipping is calculated at checkout and varies upon delivery address. Please allow 2-3 business days for your order to be processed. Once processed, your order will be shipped within 3 business days, pending payment verification. We also offer overnight shipping on some products.

International orders are shipped via FedEx with rates calculated at checkout based upon delivery address. Please note that international packages may be subject to additional customs, duties, or other fees as well as delays. The Volta doesn’t have control over these fees and delays—they are imposed by each country's customs department—and, unfortunately, we cannot not be responsible for them.
Delivery address cannot be changed by The Volta after an order has shipped. Please carefully review the delivery address before completing your order.
We strive to offer products of the highest quality. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you are welcome to return it within 30 days of receipt.
Anything you purchase on The Volta should arrive in pristine condition. For added protection, all packages shipped via USPS or FedEx will be insured according to each carrier’s policy. If you feel that anything in your order is damaged or defective, please notify us by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do all we can to remedy the situation. Note that given the limited quantities of many of our products, a replacement may not always be possible.
We accept returns on eligible domestic orders that are received within 30 days of your package delivery.
Please be sure about your purchase. All items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return.
Items purchased using a promo code may only be returned for store credit. All international orders are final sale and not eligible for return.
All eligible returns must be received within 30 days of receipt of your delivery, unwashed, unworn, and including all original tags and packaging.
Unfortunately, because of the limited-edition nature of our products, we cannot facilitate exchanges. If you require a different size, color or style, please initiate a return to send back the item you are not satisfied with. Once a return has been initiated, you can place a new order for the item you prefer.
We do not accept returns for any international shipments.
How to Return Something:
We offer two options for returns: refund or store credit.
To get the return process started, send an email to email@example.com, with your name, order number, reason for return, and which return option you’re choosing, refund or store credit.
Once your item(s) are determined to be eligible for return, we’ll send you a prepaid return label for your package. Please note for all returns: There will be a deduction from your refund or store credit to cover the cost of return shipping and processing.
If you’ve been gifted something from Volta River that isn’t quite your style, you can return it for store credit. Just contact firstname.lastname@example.org, to get the process started. We hope you find something else that you love!
How We Process Your Refund:
We strive to process refunds as quickly as possible. Once we have received and inspected your returned item, you can expect to receive a refund within 5-10 business days. We will notify you via email once we’ve received your return and the refund has been processed.
And one more note: The Volta has the right to deny credit for any returned items that do not meet the requirements of our return policy, so please treat our goods with lots of TLC!
